We All Will Be Judged By Our Works

Passage: Romans 2:6-11
Service Type:

Romans 2:6-11 tells us that everyone will be judged by their works. Those who do good will inherit eternal life. Those who do evil will experience wrath and fury and tribulation and distress.

Being judged by our works is consistent with salvation by grace through faith. Ephesians 2:8-10 makes it clear that people are saved by God's gift of grace not works. Good works are a produced in the lives of Christians through the transforming power of Jesus Christ.

Christians will be judged for their works at the Judgment Seat of Christ and rewarded for those of eternal value. Non-Christians will be judged for their works at the Great White Throne Judgment and condemned to hell.

God has made it possible for people to be forgiven and go to Heaven through faith in Jesus Christ. Everyone should believe in Jesus as Savior and Lord and be saved. Living by faith in Jesus will produce good works.
